It is an honor and privilege to serve as the President of Rho Iota Omega Chapter. Our membership is composed of talented and dedicated women who care deeply about the issues affecting our community and are actively working to be a part of the solution. The women of Rho Iota Omega gladly serve our community and this year we celebrate 36 years of service to the City of Odessa. Chapter members are proud of our legacy and continue to expand our community outreach programs in Odessa Texas while developing more partnerships to further our mission by addressing the following International Program Initiatives.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® (AKA), an international service organization, was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women.
